This month we are supporting an organization called Beautifully Loved.
Based in Austin, Texas, Beautifully Loved’s mission is “to improve confidence and self-worth for families dealing with pediatric cancer and other chronic illnesses through experiences of wellness, beauty and fashion.” They are optimistic that these experiences let young patients and their families know that they are cherished and loved.
Through their different programs that focus on wellness, beauty, and fashion, they are able to provide and promote self-care, boost self-esteem and uplift families. Their services include pamper days at the local children’s hospital to give haircuts, massages, manicures, and apply makeup. They also donate hospital care packages for both patients and parents, give clothing support, and offer self-esteem workshops.
We previously gave products for Beautifully Loved’s Mother’s Day goody bags and are happy to be helping them with their next box by donating some of our unique c.HAIR.i.TEE hair ties again.
Although in-person services are currently unavailable at this time, they have been focusing on giving families toiletry care that include items such as shampoo, lotion, deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. They were also able to give over 1500 pieces of clothing outside of the hospital and over 1000 pieces to kids in the hospital back in May.
Beautifully Loved is doing amazing things, and the testimonials on their website are just one example to show their impact. One mother wrote, “Thank you Beautifully Loved for being a shining star through the darkest nights."
