Ms. Kat Cosley found us during a web search, by accident. She liked what we do at c.HAIR.i.TEE® and chose us as one of her DIY projects to feature on ABC's Live Well Network-DEALS. Kat is a pro at finding ways to help people save money. Her show is fantastic and we highly recommend it.
So...the story goes, Kat came to the Founder's home one day with her film crew. She was very interested chilhood upbringing of Julie as this was part of the inspiration of c.HAIR.i.TEE®. Using recycled tee shirts as a child to make headbands in addition to having handmade clothing and hand-me-downs is where many of Kat's questions were derived from. Julie and Kat carried on to do a "show-and-tell" of how c.HAIR.i.TEE's are made. It is really quite simple provided you have the right tools.
The big reward: A special viewer that day gave Julie a call to place an order. She loved the show and was even more impressed that Julie shared her "how to do it" on TV when Julie is making a business out of it and gives the profits back to charity. It was a touching conversation as the phone call was from a lady in Connecticut that has cancer and liked the idea of the fa.TEE headbands for patients that needed to cover most of their head. She placed a special "extra wide" order for fa.TEE's and will forever hold a special place in Julie's heart!
