As flowers start to bloom and birds start to sing, it’s hard not to notice that spring is finally here. Spring, for a lot of people, is a mark of new beginnings. That is why I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself as I begin my new journey as a blogger.
My name is Diana and I am a graphic design intern at c.HAIR.i.TEE®. I am a college student majoring in Fine Arts and as you can probably guess, I love creating art. When I’m not busy creating graphics or working with children at my part time job, I like to work out at the gym and do a bit of yoga. I also enjoy learning ways in which I can lead a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
I’ve been lifting weights for about nine months now and I absolutely love it. I haven’t done yoga for nearly as long but I’m discovering I enjoy it just as much as I enjoy lifting. Both activities push me to my limits and help me become a better and stronger person. That is why I plan to continue lifting and practicing yoga for years to come. But there is more to a healthy lifestyle than just exercising. Nutrition and a healthy mindset are also important. Luckily, I enjoy learning about both things and implementing them into my lifestyle.
Having a sustainable lifestyle is also very important to me, so I try to find ways to be more sustainable. One of the ways in which I do this is using reusable shopping bags instead of plastic bags. However, that’s not always possible so when I do happen to get plastic bags, I try my best to reuse them or recycle them, along with other objects. And speaking of shopping, I oftentimes like to go to local thrift stores to try and find items I need or want. This way I can be more environmentally friendly while also saving some money.
