My name is Guadalupe and I am one of the interns.
I am a senior fashion design student at Long Beach State.
throughout my college career, I have taken courses that have highlighted environmental awareness which has inspired me to pursue a career in sustainable fashion and ultimately has led me to this amazing opportunity at c.HAIR.i.TEE®!
My introduction to fashion was through music, in particular rock ‘n’ Roll. I love all things rock music and how singers use fashion to showcase their personality on stage. My style inspiration comes from music legends like David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Stevie Nicks, and Francoise Hardy. I often shop at second-hand stores and vintage shops to find pieces that give me the same vibe as my style icons.
I look forward to learning more about c.HAIR.i.TEE® and the great work they accomplish through charity, sustainability, and kindness. I hope to share with you my thoughts on sustainability like my previous post (https://www.chairitee.org/post/sustainable-living-on-a-student-budget-is-it-possible ) and mental health.
